Hello all! I'm taking a bit of a hiatus from running a game as I spend time making games. Anyway, the Traveller campaign probably isn't going to be happening anymore. I tried to Savage Worlds it and it just came out weak for some reason. I think GURPS is better for helping to really nail down your characters, while Savage Worlds is strong for over-the-top kinds of games.
Speaking of over the top, I had an idea for a campaign that I thought might be worth sharing.
The Band
The year is 1986. Fresh off of recording their latest smash hit album "This Will Destroy You", the most awesomely epic hair metal band "Stonehard" leaves on a whirlwind globetrotting tour. Accompanied by their dog "Roadie", Stonehard discovers that their East German nemesis band Rockhard has also departed on their world tour, attempting to spread Communism through their trademark "Red Rock" sound. They uncover nefarious plots as they travel the world, melting faces with power chords by night, and solving mysteries by day.
